How Much Should I Charge for Pet Carriers

Since I am out of the pet ownership department now, I have three carriers that I found cleaning off the back porch. They are of a size suitable for 2 average or 3 small cats, or a small to medium sized dog. I cleaned them with bleach, but they do show signs of use and put up for sale on FB Marketplace for $5 each. Some wisenheimer had to respond that he/she could buy a new one for that. Do you think my price is reasonable or are they just trying to get me down on the price?

Another problem why I am not selling (in addition to COVID fears) is that I make people come to me. A lot want it shipped or delivered. I am not eBay! I found out years ago delivering doesn't work either. Twice I offered to bring things to people. Once they weren't home when I told them I'd be there (excuse was that thay had to pick up their grandkids from school - they could have told me they had to do that at the time we had set). The other time the woman set her dogs on me and called the cops saying I was trespassing. And people wonder why I am a misanthrope.
 
Ten cents on the Dollar? Really?

When was the last time you bought a used car in decent condition for 10% of the original sticker price? How about a good quality used camera? A computer? An anything that wasn't a piece of junk?
 
I meant things like pet carriers, @raybar , or buying store equipment from someone going out of business. Common stuff, household stuff.

Btw, do you ever hear from Olivia?
 
It's starting already. I did get a nibble but a woman wanted me to being them to her in Fort Edward. That's like a 50 mile round trip. Also a woman just left here expecting to get them all for $5. I told her it was clearly stated in the ad that it was $5 EACH. She got huffy and left.
 
I wouldn't want strangers coming over unless I knew them but then they wouldn't be strangers. When I got my two cats from a stranger I went with my son and our mutual vet arranged it. I'm not as bold as I used to be.
 
Third strike out. A woman said she was coming at 4:30 pm. I gave he elaborate directions. She just PMed me and said she couldn't find me. I am on the main street and the number is on the house. How could she not find it?

Trade was married. He was in Alabama and Olivia in beautiful Hawaii. I don't know. I recently came across an old thread and they were so in sync with one another. It's a rumor they ran off together, no one knows. We all just made it up, I thought. I know Olivia for 19 years. She's a wonderful person, I can't say enough good things.
