'I Feel Fantastic,' COVID-19 Vaccine Volunteer Says

Woman in Seattle trial reports no major side effects but still wears a mask to be sure

The first person in the US to receive an experimental vaccine for COVID-19 has provided a medical update, and it's encouraging. "It's been 16 weeks since I had the first dose," Jennifer Haller says. "I feel fantastic." The Washington state woman, an operations manager for a tech startup, has experienced no major side effects, KOMO reports.

Bit confused on this issue as I think they are experimenting with a vaccine here. If you are asymptomatic or get symptoms like a mild flu surely we should be testing those people and finding out what it is with their antibodies , blood, immune system etc etc that provides a low level or no symptoms. My worry is that a vaccine will be produced that will not be necessary for all and if one is mandated to have it, what could be the consequences. As far as I understand it most medicines have some side effects to one individual or another but some side effects are not known until many years ahead.
As I always say, just some thoughts ☺

I'm also confused. This article does not really say anything of value.

Old saying but still true: You cannot prove a negative.

Even many doctors have said the antibody test for Coronavirus is so unreliable, not to bother.

Depends on the test design and quality. Manufacturers flooded the market early on with tests that weren't even FDA approved. I'd imagine researchers are using the accurate ones.
