BBQ road trip

Dave and I took a trip to Lockhart, Texas, self proclaimed BBQ capital of Texas. And by BBQ I’m talking smoked meat, not hamburgers on the grill. We had some darned good brisket and brought home some ribs and turkey too.

Then we walked around a little. The courthouse is a real Victorian wonder. Sadly, almost all the shops were closed. It was nice to get out, even in this gawdawful heat.
