What time is bedtime?

Any old time I please! Oh the joys of retirement!

On days I have to get up for work(I am an Elementary School Nurse) so I get up early.I go to bed by 11 p.m. On the weekends I tend to put my head down on the pillow by Midnight to 1 in the morning.

Usually around 9pm to 9:30 pm, I feel like someone has 'pulled my plug.' But then I've always been an early bird.

My (night owl) children used to complain when I'd wake them up for school, "Mom, you are Too Cheerful!"

In bed about 11 and read with Kindle in dark room until it falls shut. Sometimes I'm awake enough to get it closed and tucked under the pillow, other times I find it among the sheets when I wake.
I love my Kindle. It goes to bed with me. I may or may not read but its there.

Interesting.

I'm an 'early to bed, early to rise' person. ... have been that way my entire life.
That use to me be. Prior to retirement, I use to get in bed no later than 9pm and get up around 5am. I worked 7am to 3:30pm shift.. Loved that shift. But since retirement.. 11pm no later than 12 am is bedtime.

Ever since I was a child I've never slept well at night. I used to go to bed at 3 or 4 in the morning. Now my limit is usually 1AM. Unless I'm having trouble falling asleep.
