I must have taken the wrong road

Being that I'm considering a career as a doomsday prepper, frugalist/cheapskate, mountain man/fur trapper, pawn shop owner, picker, classic car restorer among others I decided I watch entirely too many reality shows on TV.

I do draw the line watching bad girls of wherever or choosing the best wedding dress (my idea of hell on earth) and couldn't care less about keeping up with that untalented family of girls. I now find that I'm enjoying watching more sitcom reruns from the 60's. Barney and Opie are my heros.

I think you are right either way but is a wedding or wedding dress hell on earth?

I still work with 1940s plumbing and electric but you always see these DIY reno guys redoing a 1960/70ish house(which they considered ancient)

I must admit contrived reality tv has better writing than a lot of fictional tv shows/dramas/comedies etc.

No Son,sounds like you are on the right road. You just take a few side trips here and there....life without a GPS is like that.:) I remember reading about Francis Bavier, who logged more Mayberry miles than any other character (10 years), playing Aunt Bea. She, like many of the regulars, took the role to heart and pretty much became her character. One cookbook that I like to read is her Mayberry cookbook. One of my favorite recipes (I have never made it, but enjoy its name) is "Goober's Radiator-Flush Punch"! :)
