Shipping costs rising

So if a site doesn't take paypal do you just not shop there?

Unless it's something really unique, I haven't had any problem finding a seller who accepts Paypal, Virtually any Online retailer/seller, especially over the past 5 or 6 years has begun to use Paypal. Heck, even Walmart takes Paypal.

If you want an example of the potential for Hacking.....just think of the risk people take when they use their smartphone, or WiFi in a public setting, to make any kind of purchase. That scatters their personal/CC info to anyone within 1/4 mile....or more.

I'm surprised we don't see more problems with it then.

I got my phone number stolen by hackers. Had to buy a brand new phone & get a totally new number. It's something that will always be a part of technology. They somehow get ahold of phone numbers with land lines & use them to call people. Someone used my parents phone number and called them with it. I don't ever recall seeing that kind of issue with the rotary phone. LOL

It's going to increase, and probably not very far into the future. If you do a search on "cell phone tracker", you can find dozens of devices for sale, even on Amazon. Presently these devices are only adequate for location tracking....parents keeping tabs on their kids., etc., but with a little improvement in technology, such devices will soon be able to track keystrokes, and even voice data. Presently, such capability is fairly rare, and only in the hands of a few....and in government agencies...but that may soon change.

Anyone who shops on their phones or using WiFi, may want to reassess their shopping habits.

Ok so here's my issue. I have a PayPal acct but I don't see that option on Amazon. So what now?

I doubt Amazon offers Paypal....they make far more money with Prime. Try shopping for your items elsewhere, and you may well find a better price, And be able to pay with Paypal.
