Walmart Drive-in Movies

It appears that Walmart is going to turn some of its large parking lots into evening movie venues. Our nearest location...about 20 miles away....is starting this in mid October, and is already sold out. I guess this is another anomaly of the CoronaVirus. It should be interesting to see how this works out.

Don't see what the big deal would be sitting in a cramped car especially in the summer watching a movie you can see at home with all the comforts included....maybe in the Fall with the windows open would be a little more enjoyable for a diversion from home, but the Winter it would be closed, I imagine....feeling like you're around others while social distancing is all a mental state of mind.

We've had other promoters offering similar events in my area.

In July one promoter offered a televised drive-in concert with Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani for $115 per car.

They also had various food trucks selling refreshments.

It has been at times. It's ok there during the day. I wouldn't go there at night.

My son had the tailgate of his pick up stolen at 3 in the afternoon in a Wally World parking lot!!
