suggestion. upload photos to our member page?

its not letting me upload any images... I can only point to images that are already online by adding its address.

I see you have a picture of your dog in your photo album. Did you upload that from your computer? All the images in my Media have been uploaded from my computer with no problems. I actually save a picture sometimes that I want to use from online to my computer and upload it that way. Only way I've ever done it really.

Go to your profile page and click Media to see your dog pic. Then click on Add Media, there'll be a list of options, choose Photos. You.ll see and Upload Arrow, click on that to upload more photos. Been awhile since I added any pics, I usually just go to one of my albums and add Media. Good luck.

no option to "add media". no list of options, nothing that says "photos".. its not clear on how this works and I've used computers a long time. Xenforo is new to me.. not a big deal I guess.

@macgeek Go to your profile page. You'll see Media with the number 1 under it. Click on that 1 and it will take you to your dog pic. In the upper right side, you should see an orange button that says Add Media. This software is still kind of new to all of us, learning as we go.

@macgeek .. I added a picture on my profile page in the section under Account details ... down where it says: About You
.. pictures can go there too if you want.

When clicking on profile page, and 'About' ... your picture pops up there.

You were attaching pictures to a profile post, which is a little inconvenient, maybe because profile posts were designed to post short status update. Latest profile posts appear on the right sidebar of the homepage, you can see pictures don't look very nice there.

You can resize you large posts right on then replay box. Just upload your image from your computer to the reply box, the click on it to crop it..Easy

I use Microsoft Picture which comes with Windows. I edit and enhance crop and resize all at one time and then I save it on my desktop. When I browse it's easy to find it on my desktop. Whatever is the most convenient for anyone .I don't like using outside sites.
I try to use whatever I have on my computer.
The resize feature allows automatic Web size for uploading.
