He Shot the Elk on Saturday. It Killed Him the Next Day

Well that does it! LOL!

We're actually attending a family barbecue this afternoon, and barbecued burgers are on the menu! I can't wait! :)
The only thing that I should have added is to make sure that you brown the onions. If you are lucky enough to get an Elk burger, WOWEEE!

Sigh... unfortunately, wild meat won't be on the menu today, but you can bet I'll be thinking about this thread the next time I sit down to a good old-fashioned proper venison burger with all the fixings! :)

So, I got to thinking about this and now I have to wonder if a person's autonomic system can become diseased or dysfunctional and not work. If so, can it be corrected or what happens to the individual?
There's many different things that fall into that category... Parkinson is one
My MIL developed something similar to Guillain-Barré syndrome started with numbness and weakness in her legs.
Over the next 6 months she started falling, then total loss of use of her legs....
then it progressed to her lung function and after 10 days on a vent she made the choice to go to Hospice and not spend her life with a trach and hook to a machine.

That's all sad to hear.

Its a part of life we call sad...
Was transporting a 90+ year old lady to Hospice and she smiled and asked me if I knew what life was....
I asked what?... She replied... " A 100% fatal sexually transmitted disease "
