Do any of you own any antique jewelry, i.e. rings, etc.?

The diamonds on my 'first' wedding set are over 100 years old and belonged to my husband's great-grandmother. Hubby's sister had them put on a setting I selected.

Gorgeous rings, Pam. You're fortunate to have them!

Sadly, my late mother-in-law's antique engagement & wedding rings were stolen in a break-in of our house. They were more than a couple of carats, and should have been in our safety deposit box. We were reimbursed through insurance, but that's of little comfort. They were going to go to our daughter. I'll try to find an image online that resembles the rings.

They were very unique. Can't find an image that comes even close.

I do have my mother's rectangular white/yellow gold ruby ring that was overlooked during the break-in. I've had dreams of that ring being protected .. and, it was.

I'm so sorry to hear, @Pinky .

So beautiful! I love the old mine cut diamonds. I have my great-grandmother's wedding band from 1903, but she didn't have a stone. I've purchased a few Edwardian pieces.

I inherited an elaborately engraved 14k gold pocket watch circa 1886 that belonged to my great-uncle from England, who died long before I was born. The watch still runs! I took it to be appraised and was offered $1,000 for it on the spot based on its gold content. When I was told that it would likely be melted down rather than wind up in a collection, I decided to keep rather than sell it as the only piece of my great-uncle still existant in the world...

We took the diamonds from Kayelle's engagement ring from her late husband, and the gold from a bracelet my late wife bought me, and turned it into this pendant. I had inscribed on the back Prov 31.10, which reads,
A wife of noble character who can find?
She is worth far more than rubies
