Who the hell gets buried with their cell phone?

London: In a spooky mix-up, a woman in the UK was horrified at receiving text messages from her dead grandmother three years after she was buried with her mobile only to find out that the phone number had been reallotted. When Lesley Emerson died in 2011 some of her favourite things were buried with her, including her mobile phone.
Sheri Emerson, of South Shields, said she found comfort in texting her but was stunned to get a reply, saying: "I'm watching over you."

Jeezo davey,

What does it matter to anyone else if it brings solace to the family.? I don't see anything amusing about a family's way of grieving if it's not harming anyone else!!

I agree Hollydolly, I heard that many people want to be buried with their prized possessions. They're not harming anyone, but when these things are reported in the news, they are opened up for comments and opinions from all who read about it.

This is the modern version of putting a string and attached to a bell into the coffin before burying!

Did you hear about the man who wanted to be buried with his most prized possession which was (I believe) a Harley Davidson motorcycle? He built his own coffin out of plexiglass, stipulated that he be sitting astride his 'beloved' and wearing his leathers and helmet and lowered into the grave like that.

Now this guy had a raging sense of humour I think! man buried with his motorcycle image
