Welcome, there are plenty of other ladies and gentlemen here to converse with. Then again there's also a few scoundrels like me. I hope you enjoy your time here.

Welcome dobielvr. Is that Doberman or Dobie Gillis? :) Warning - it can get odd around here sometimes, but then what else would we do? :)

What is the difference between a scoundrel and a geek (serious question)? I know I am one, but not sure about the other. :)

Ha ha that would be Doberman.
And whose Dobie Gillis anyway....lol šŸ˜€

Dobie Gillis was a TV show when many of us were growing up during the early 1960s. As an example (Dobie is clean-cut well dressed and Maynard is the "beatnik"):

Just kidding ^^^^^
I remember him from the show, which i cant recall the name of....they all went on a 3 hr tour. And got stranded on an island.
With Jim Backus, Tina Louise etc.

Central Valley....north about 3 1/2 - 4 hrs.
I've been looking on line. I prefer the female seniors...7 yrs on up.

What's the name of this dobie rescue you speak of, if I may ask?
I've looked south of me, but not down that far.

I have attached the url. A nice lady named Ardis runs it. It is in Fillmore off the 126, Depending where you are in the Central Valley, take the 99 or I5 to the 126, then go west.

@dobielvr welcome from Downunder in Oz and this is my husband's Doberman called Max
Unfortunately Max died on the operating table at our local Vet several years ago
I had not had experience with giant breed dogs and Max weighed 80kg or 177pounds but Max was truly a gentle giant
It always made me smile when I took Max for walks because people would cross to the other side of the road when they
saw him and then cross back again after we had passed by....if only they had known how truly gentle he was 😘
Max was no wuss either because if he felt his Dad or I were being threatened a lovely set of gleaming white teeth appeared
