Ever Have A Slinky As A Kid, and Watch I Go Down the Stairs?

Yes, I had a slinky but it never went down the stairs like it was demonstrated in the TV commercials. Poor cat looks like it's legs are paralyzed. I hope not.

And a yoyo...

and these little dexterity puzzles in my stocking!

Kids these days have definitely learned to aim higher than I did!!!

Only reason we had stairs, because our apartment was on the third floor, no elevators back then either.

Thanks for the TV ad Aunt Bea, brought back some nice memories. :sentimental: I enjoyed my kaleidoscope too as a kid, got it for a Christmas present one year and was delighted.

My baby siblings had one, the original metal one, yet I seem to recall it would only slink down a max of 5-6 stairs before stopping.

I remember, in the movie Tango & Cash, when Tango wrapped up Clint Howard in a Slinky in their cell in a prison. Clint Howard was laying in his cell rack all wrapped up in it. Funny as heck!

I once had a Slinky,
But the coils, they got kinky,
And then the poor Slinky
Was ruined...

He sat on the floor,
And descended stairs no more.
So mother just showed
Slinky the door... 😹
