Best article I've seen on Covid reinfection

Are they actually gettin reinfected or is it hangin around in their systems? They got that Long Haulers group on Facebook. People that have been dealin with all this well after it's passed. Months of it. I wonder if it lingers in a fellas system.

I have been reading that studies have learned that the antibodies gained after infection (as shown in blood tests) decline fairly rapidly and so whatever protection they offer is not long lasting, like measles antibodies. I'll try and find the article again and cite it.

This article mentions that finding as well.

I think this is probably what is happening. If you catch a cold or flu, once it's over, that's the end of it. These modern viruses seem to stay in your system and keep flaring up.

Except in this case the article specifically states that the people who are considered reinfected have been tested and found to have two different versions of the virus.

It does seem to have a variety of symptoms and affect people in different ways.
