Who else hates the time change?

Who else hates the time change?

I wake up, get my coffee, and sit on the porch if it’s warm enough and on the couch if it isn’t regardless of daylight savings.

I’m annoyed by the time change but only because it confuses my perception of what time of the day it is by the quality of the light. It doesn’t affect my activities one way or another. The only thing that affects what I do if it needs to be done outside is the weather so whether it’s lighter or darker earlier makes no difference to my activities.

It's a totally useless concept. Just another useless idea shoved down our throats by the government. You spring forward in the spring & you fall back in the fall. What a waste of time playing with all the clocks in the home every 6 months.

i think the whole brouhaha over time change is all in people's heads. it's ONE hour... get over it.

if clocks had not been changed over past weekend, day light hours would continue to become shorter and shorter until that day in December... 12/21? 12/22? after that, daylight will increase in teeny increments until June 21? 22? the day with the most daylight hours. then the whole cycle starts over again.

we NEVER gain or lose time... EVER! if you live on/very near the equator your light/dark hours are pretty much equal.

there's no need for DST any more... dump it. and while we're at it... we should learn metric measurements!

Each person is different. Each of us has a different schedule. Some it bothers and some it does not, as with everything.

I'm okay with it, it signals the seasons to me. In winter it gets dark early and in summer it stays light for a long time. Nice to have it lighter in the morning when I let the dog out. Hubby and I just stayed up an hour later last night, this morning when I looked at my clock I considered my doggie and let him out at an appropriate time. I like the four seasons, this is just part of it.

The longer mornings are so nice for me, dark early is great fun , nice to have dinner with candles or lights.
