I'm trying so hard to adopt the same. What I want for Christmas is for it to pass quickly. Sentimentality brings sadness of past times which are gone forever. Always forward, never back someone told me, and I've made it my motto.
A 1960 Ford Falcon with a straight axle, altered wheelbase, painted Rolls Royce cloud silver, blue tinted windows, with a big block chevy motor and a 57 olds rear.
Not that I've given this a lot of thought or anything.![]()
You prefer the Olds rear over a Ford 9"? I just put a 9" in my 39 Pontiac Coupe. That'll do.Of course, I had one and all I wanted was the rear end. Perfect for drag cars.

try ebayI had a doll given to me by my parents for Christmas a long, long time ago. I drank and wet (water) and it's head was a molded plastic with waves that looked like hair. I loved that doll. I am always checking the Thrift store and Value Village to see if anyone gets rid of a doll like that. Sigh...what a stupid wish!

You should have. Hindsight and all that you know. its hard to replicate that now!Oh, I like and have used 9" Fords for lots of our racecars, but, for nostalgia sake, I'd prefer the olds. I recently found on a facebook group a 61 Falcon with a straight axle and 9" ford rearend, set up for chevy small block. I'm keeping it on the back burner in case I can't find a 1960 one.
I regret giving up my old 55 in 2002 that I had since 1966. It was near perfect. glass tilt nose, glass deck lid, 57 olds rear, 46 ford straight axle with transverse spring, 6' ladder bars, engine set back 10%. Hindsight, I guess I should have kept it.

A friend? Have you none?A lot of what's already been posted. Also: a friend. Also, for my husband to agree to downsize to a smaller place closer--a lot closer--to town.
None close.A friend? Have you none?
