I know of a good number of people who's bread makers got used once, maybe twice, and now sit as dust collectors.

I was recently offered one by a neighbour and respectfully turned it down, but I remember them being HUGE when they first came out. They were flying off the store shelves.

In the early 80's I bought a Nakamichi Dragon cassette player which at the time was the top of the line cassette player and very expensive compared to the other players. About a couple of months later I bought my first CD player and I never looked back

Define 'need'. Not knowing the difference between a need and a want has been the financial downfall of many.

I accept that collecting may satisfy a psychological need.

Your comment is very true.......i bake bread dough in it very few times.......i use mine for pretty much mixing and kneading.......after that's done i take the dough out and rise it, then bake it my oven.

Years ago.
Pasta machine......all the machine was for, was with the different dies, for different shapes of pasta.......didn't mix the dough.
Food dehydrator.......total big disappointment.

Yes, the pasta was out of this world !!!!!!!!.......but......liked it so much, had to put it away, hard on the weight control.
The pasta was pretty much just for me......so i put it away......from there, it went to my former daughter in law.

Nordic Track Ski Machine! I love that thing. I use mine every night. its getting well worn now. I have been using it since '98.
