Another beautiful launch tonight. The skies were clear and the launch was bright. The Orion constellation was right behind the launch path.

Was that the SpaceX launch? I thought that exploded yesterday. Speaking of I never had the experience of seeing an actual Shuttle launch in person. I always enjoy the Tanks in Space website that shows the booster releases "With audio" from all the STS cameras from the main tank to splashdown.

There was a "short" one on Thursday that wasn't meant to actually go into space. The "big" one was last night (Friday). Lots of action going on over there these days.
