Adobe Flash Is Officially No More.

Just a note: adobe Acrobat Reader is a different program than Adobe Flash.

As I mentioned earlier, Adobe is a company/brand name and has lots of programs (for example, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Dreamweaver).

The issue is Adobe Flash.

@officerripley and @debodun Even though the date January 12th was used, Adobe highly recommends that people uninstall the app from their computers immediately. There will be no security in it's usage. The reminder popped up on my computer yesterday and I uninstalled it immediately. The Citibank virtual card numbers app was using Flash. Without Adobe's security feature, I wouldn't want to use it. Checked Citi and the virtual number app still worked after I uninstalled Flash so they must be using another method. Here's the explanation of what to expect with Adobe Flash's End of Life with a better explanation of the Jan 12th date.
"Since Adobe is no longer supporting Flash Player after the EOL Date, Adobe will block Flash content from running in Flash Player beginning January 12, 2021 to help secure users’ systems. Flash Player may remain on the user’s system unless the user uninstalls it.

7. WHICH BROWSERS AND OPERATING SYSTEMS CURRENTLY SUPPORT ADOBE FLASH PLAYER?

As the EOL Date approaches, the number of Flash-supported browsers and operating systems will continue to decrease so Adobe strongly recommends that all users immediately uninstall Flash Player."

Thanks, Devi and Diva; I did uninstall Flash from both computers; I've been lucky that only 2 games will no longer play and they are free so I shouldn't complain!

Too much change too fast for me. How many streaming services are out there now. You see a coming movie that looks good but it's only coming out on this service or that service. There must be at least a dozen now.

I have IE Windows 10 and after adobe flash said I won't be able to play my games on miniclip.com that was the case. However, I just got on miniclip and it played games fine with no issues. Beats me.

Owwwwww! Still funny, though. 😄
Well, Adobe has been a good company with decent products. I just couldn't resist the pun though. Their reasons for letting everybody know to uninstall Adobe flash is for security reasons because they intend to no longer support the software so they would not be actively involved in fixing security issues moving forward. To me, that is very good customer support, especially since they didn't charge for the software.
