Alize James clung to hood of getaway car after couple swiped dog from Texas pet store.

Alize James loves "all types of animals," and she proved just how much on Nov. 4. That's when the worker at BullyKamp, a pet shop in Houston, says a man and woman entered the store and, after checking out different dog breeds, decided to buy a bully puppy worth $10,000, per KPRC.

Authorities identified the woman as 21-year-old Royshana King. King was arrested and has been charged with aggravated robbery with a deadly weapon. They have not identified the man she was with.

A purebred English Bulldog here in Canada will run a buyer $10,000.

I’ve seen french bulldogs for sale here for 15,000. I’ve seen most labs for sale for 1,200. Four years ago an AKC lab was, at most, 300 dollars. Mixed breed puppies sell for 700 which is what I bought my puppy for. A purebred corgi starts at 1500. But I didn’t want a purebred anyway.

We're friends with dog breeders, and dear husband and I were sold on getting two English Bulldogs, that is until we found out their price.

The problem is also you can buy a dog for 15000 and it can get a puppy shot, have an allergic reaction, and then, you got a dead puppy and no money.
