Can't get a new audio book or book to read currently

There are plenty of Audio books to listen to on Youtube for free...

Here is 1 of 3 of 1984 George Orwells' ..1984... also accompanied by text so if you'd rather just read the book online you can turn your volume off and not listen to the narration...

A year ago, before the pandemic, the NYC Library system was handing out free copies of '1984.' Excellent book that everyone wishes could never come true, but yet.............we read it generation after generation to remind us, but yet...............we do some of this stuff anyway!!!!

Every year that passes we seem to live our lives more and more like 1984....
 

A great many audio books and temporarily down loadable (for 2 weeks; just like a brick and mortar library) e-books are available from Open Library and other online libraries. Note; you will have to download and install Adobe digital editions as a piracy preventer and e-reader.

I get ebooks and audiobooks from my regular library, although there's often a wait for the more popular titles. I have library cards for two separate library systems, so that increases the selection.
