Just One More Toilet Paper Question

So long as it's sturdy enough to fit its purpose, I'm not bothered what it looks like. Although, now you bring the subject to our attention, you used to be able to get very pretty colours...now it all seems to be white.

Better for the environment...possibly?
I buy paper for my pets bedding and it comes in pink, blue and white....so they have pretty bedding while I have plain toilet paper!
I mean health issues for women especially because of where it touches. Pets are colorblind anyway, except cats can see green and blue very well. I'm sure they don't care, and neither should you. :giggle:

That is something I hadn't considered (women's health). I'm sensitive to soap down there so that's something I have to be careful about.
By the way, on the issue of pet bedding....there isn't a choice of colours...pretty pastel shades are the only option. It looks suspiciously like toilet paper so perhaps it's been rejected for some reason....not re-used, I hope!

My late father used to lock himself in the bathroom and read the paper leaving a line-up waiting for their turn. Didn't matter what type of toilet paper it was. I remember making my mother and siblings so mad as for father's day, I purchased a toilet paper holder complete with small radio to give that extra enjoyment while he sat.

Scott, 2 ply, 1000 sheets per roll. White. Colors, flowers, etc. banned decades ago for health & sewage reasons. Makes sense.
banned here in the UK too..well not sure about banned, rather than just stopped manufacturing... colours are still readily available in all supermarkets in Spain, Italy, and of course Amazon ...In our major supermarket Tesco.. all the same pastel colours I mentioned before by the same manufacturer are sold in Kitchen paper...

I forgot to mention, he always had a stinky cigar in his mouth!

One of the interesting things about this forum is that topics often discussed are something that would never otherwise cross my mind such as the color or designs of the toilet paper I use. Do people REALLY think about these things or is this simply a way to alleviate boredom?

I must admit, I have never seen 'coloured toilet paper' and I am not colour blind!

This is the black one..it's a pack of 6 - 3ply.. you can't see it very well because of the window reflection... but look it up on Amazon..the brand name is Renovo

Cheaper but better than any cheap stuff

Not sure the pattern, but It starts out white.......
The patterns you refer to are probably the resulting Rorschach patterns. Here are some examples...

At least now we know where Rorschach got the idea for his tests! o_O

Edit: In the event that anybody is wondering what these tests are all about...
