This Marriage Advice From the 1950s Still Applies Today

Well, This is easy for me to say because I'm a widow.
But for one day, if a woman stopped whining, nagging, gossiping, condemning and complaining,
FOR ONE DAY
she woulld see MIRACLES HAPPEN!
I will turn this around...if a man stopped whining, nagging, gossiping, condemning and complaining, FOR ONE DAY, he would see MIRACLES HAPPEN! It goes both ways. Now, how do I know...well, I have been there
 
Failure to treat each other with mutual respect is probably the primary reason why nearly half of todays marriages end in divorce.
Unless physical and or mental abuse is involved as in my case
I was stupid enough to stay in my first marriage for 37 years until my kids moved out
Unfairly my kids blame me for the divorce and are estranged from me

I was married for 50 years when my husband passed and my kids, thank God, still love me. They recognized the strength I carried always and understood.
 
If love is blind, then marriage is the eye opener.
Marriage is when a man and woman become as one.
The trouble starts when they try to decide which one.
Grooms, once you get married remember that when you have a discussion with your future wife,
always get the last two words in: “Yes, dear.”
