How can I insert a quote from a previous post in a thread into my reply?

Yes, just highlight the post, when the little pop up appears with quote or reply, choose quote. Go to post in the thread you want to and click Insert Quotes under the message box. Then click Quote Messages.

Thanks, SeaBreeze, I did it twice! ;)

That made me remember when I couldn't cut & paste. The only instruction ever offered was: "Oh it's easy." I tell you what, if you Google: "Oh it's easy," you won't find an instruction how to cut & paste. Someone kindly took the time to show me and I agree, it is easy. But until that kind of helpfulness comes along, it's no more easy than learning anything else that you weren't born with the knowledge to comprehend.

I want to receive email when someone quotes my message and have these checked in the preferences page but it doesn't email me. I don't want to receive news and other things. There is Alert and Push check boxes for "Quotes your message". It would be nice if you add Email to this option.
