My son used to drive a bus that went to New York City. He made it his business to greet his passengers with a smile and good word. He said that he may have been one of the first people they saw that day so he wanted to give them a pleasant start to their days. He would even wait a couple of minutes at stops feeling that someone may have been running late. When he told his passengers what day would be his last driving for the company, they chipped in, gave him $100 and a big cake.
