Yes, I'm ordering one.

Would love to hear your Pros/Cons related to copper over stainless.

Copper looks good at first; does it have a lid?
The user ratings seem pretty good.
I like multil-layer construction in pans with stainless /aluminum/stainless or the same with a copper outer layer.
Copper outer layers tend to need more work/upkeep/polishing, to keep them looking good.
I expect that I would opt for stainless handles.

I avoid single layer stainless pans as they do not spread the heat as well, resulting in over done spots.

I inherited my aluminum roaster; worked well for Grandma, still works well for me.

Mine is not as spotless as the pic...

Enjoy!

No lid, Happy Joe.

I have a mix of copper and stainless cookware, and used to enjoy polishing the copper, but it's funny how age changes ones enthusiasm in that department.

That's a beautiful roaster you have!

The old saying... "they don't make them like that anymore", sure rings true in relation to your roasting pot.

I bought one of these from Amazon about 2 years ago; it was HUGE! I never found use for it being that it is just the hubs and I ... so, I sold it for what I paid ~ on FB Marketplace.71cAXhDx2JL._AC_UL115_[1].jpg

I must admit, I like stainless, too, Pam.

One big turnoff for me regarding the copper version, I came across a few pictures of used ones, and they looked dirty, whereas stainless tends to never look that way.
That's right. But, we all have our preferences, I suppose.

That looks exactly like club aluminum which my mom had and I inherited. Loved that stuff.

All stainless, Marg. Easiest to clean. Trust me.
I agree, Lew, all of the stainless cookware I have still looks brand spanking new, and while my copper pieces look dashing when polished, it's a lot of work, however it never lasts long. One or two uses and the copper is back looking like it did prior to polishing.

I sort of had an idea what I was going for when I posted the thread topic, but as with so many things homemaking, I always appreciate hearing from others here.

It's a big purchase for me so I'm glad I settled on the stainless.

After a lot of research on aluminum I threw away all my aluminum cookware years ago.
I use only stainless, and my cast iron frypans of course.
I had a collection of aluminum-ware in the 80's when dear husband and I were starting out, but was gifted with a nice stainless set shortly after and that was the end of the aluminum days in our house.
