You might be on to something. One of our aliens thinks she's a marsupial, she lived in my bath robe pocket until she was too big to fit. Now she just follows me everywhere. She's probably reporting back. She has this honey trap habit of rubbing the side of her face against me. "I love you," she purrs. She's got me right round her paw. I can't give you a link. I have loads of books on Ancient Egypt and I read about it in more than one of them. It was also mentioned in a documentary on the sphinx, which originally had the head of a lion. It's pretty obvious that the current head is way out of proportion to the body.
The 'aliens' didn't resemble cats, they had feline features. So cats resemble the aliens not the other way round.

So that would explain how the Sphinx lost its nose, all that toing and froing from Earth to Sirius, it was bound to crash into another planet :eek:

OK Rosemarie, thanks for the update. Yes I've also read that the Sphinx's head was remodelled, possibly at the time that the pyramids were built.
 
Ancient Chinese myth says cats were sent down by the gods to manage creation but were too fond of sleeping to do a good job of it.
