Watching Netflix series Zero Chill, will same-sex skating partners be allowed to compete in couples competition with male / female competitors? It would open a whole new level of couples competition.

How silly can you get? Guess there is no limit these days. After all, we have become such a wonderful all inclusive and all diverse that there just ain't anymore room for the middle of the road guys like me. I'm a dinosaur and will soon fade into obilivion. Maybe, just as well!

If the skating league were to include same-sex couples competition with traditional couples skating would competition be judged fairly?

Interesting idea. I suppose in the case of 2 males, the team would be stronger physically and therefore able to perform more powerful tricks.

The 2 females might never stand a chance and the male-female team fall somewhere in the middle.

I don't really know; this is off the top of my head.

I dont know about all competitions, but a lot of Ballroom dance competitions allow same sex couples now.

There was such an amazing, beautiful dance of two men on "Queer As Folk"

I think they’d have the advantage. Lifting a small woman would be a benefit.
