Do you have a special gift of insight or intuition? Do you think differently than other people. in what way do you see that other people cannot? Do have a gift?
 

I don't know if it's a gift, I can't use it for anything but I have had synesthesia all my life, ever since I can remember.. It means that I can see words in colour.. some people who have this can see numbers in colour, I only see words...

Also I have an eye for a straight line or a measurement, for example, I rarely need a ruler to know the distance between 2 points... unless I need it to be exact.

This is far more useful to me in real life.. aside from not having to measure most things, it also helped me become Ladies county champion Bar Billiards player which depends on the player being able to shoot in a straight or angled line..

I also have an acute sense of direction, so I only have to look at a map once if I'm going to a place I've never been in another country for example, and I don't get lost... here in the UK I never need a map or Satnav

I have never heard of that, but how cool! All different colors or just one color. And, oh my, if I didn’t need a ruler my life would be so much better. I’m going to hire you the next time I have to hand a picture wall 😁

I see the same word in the same colour every time, regardless of the mood it conveys but all words are different colours if you see what I mean..

Take the days of the week... Monday , is always white, Tuesday brown, Wednesday that always Red, Thursday is also always the same shade of Brown as Tuesday ., Friday is Green....Saturday Black.... Sunday is yellow

lol, if my o/h doesn't have a ruler to hand, he'll often call me and ask me to come look at a piece of metal and say what size it is.. or something he's about to hang up on the wall and ask me to tell him if it will fit in a certain size space ...

Sounds like you have synesthesia. I've always thought it would be cool to experience.
 
My gift, if you choose to call it that is that I always know where North is. No matter the time of day, the lack of solar or lunar reference, or my physical location on the planet I can point to magnetic North within a few degrees of accuracy. In my hunting days this ability frequently resulted in some merry arguments with my nimrod companions about where camp was.

Actually this ability is not all that rare.
