What is the most boring thing to do at home?

Ever tried a dishwashing machine tablet? They're said to work wonders. Drop one in the loo let it dissolve then scrub with a brush - but wear gloves.
LOL...I don't need to do that really, my toilet never gets that dirty. I do have a toilet block in the loo at all times, and I clean the loo every day.. but we get really hard water here so every few months we have to take Killrock to it...

We have really hard water too. Breaks your teeth just drinking it :ROFLMAO: So we had a water softener installed otherwise we'd have to descale thekettle twice a week

yes we keep saying we'll have a water softener installed, just never get around to it and yes same here we have to descale the kettle every week...our kettles never last more than a year or 2 at most, our cold water tanks have to be replaced every 10 years..etc...

Doing nothing.
It worries the heck out of me that the elderly who live alone have had one heck of a horrible year with nothing to do and nowhere to go this last 12 months. I just hate the thought that the really old or infirm are sitting doing nothing all day with no visitors and most of them with no computer , they must be going mad with boredom...

Not just a mental decline but a physical decline from lack of activity/exercise.

I need to get out and force myself to begin walking every day to regain some of the strength that I've lost since the pandemic began.

That's the way I feel about all household chores.

I would much rather paint a room or refinish a piece of furniture than dust or Hoover the carpet.
Yep, you wash the dishes....they just get dirty again. Cook a meal? Darned if they're not hungry again in 6 hours. Scrub the toilet and somebody's gonna want to use it.

Don't get me started on laundry. Who the hell is wearing all those clothes????? Gremlins? Poltergeist? Garden gnomes sneaking in?

And be very careful to place it in gently. Dont let it splash in. I never use anything in my home that can harm eyes or anything else.

I use Alka Seltzer Tablets! Much safer and no gloves necessary

Far more than you'd think, Holly. I see it everyday where I live and it is so sad.
