The cause was a collapsed bridge that sent the train cars plummeting onto the ground killed at least 24 people, including children. The tragedy occurred on the newest stretches of track. Local residents expressed concern over the stability of the structure after the Mexico City earthquake in 2017. Apparently cracks were visible in the concrete of the overpass. My heart goes out to those who lost loved ones in this devastating accident.

This is a great tragedy that could have been prevented. I feel sad.
