What hair style, or type of clothing do you just don't "love"?

I saw a commercial last night on TV where one guy was wearing that 'bun' and it just annoyed me for some reason. So unlike me. I don't get it; if a guy wants long hair... why is he wearing it in a bun?

To me, it's not about the style as much as what looks appropriate for the individual.

People dress however they want to, whether or not I approve is really none of my business. To my eye, some hairstyles are the sort of thing that would freak me out if I had a daughter who said: "Dad, meet my new boyfriend." Thankfully that will never be my experience.

The fellow in this photo is Ted Edley, he's a talented artisan in metal. But it's so easy to be judgemental about his orange Mohican hair style.
Chances are though, I bet there's many a thought, or silent insult about my hats. Although I did have a wonderful backhanded compliment/insult about my hat, and about the baggy trousers that I'm always wearing. A fellow came up to me in the supermarket and said: "Got to say, your appearance is amazing," then he went on, "I would love to have the balls to walk out in public like that." I couldn't make my mind up if he was complimenting me or taking the p*ss! I gave him the benefit of the doubt.

Do you really need balls to look like this?

Maybe your look was too much for a young man and he thought his friends wouldn’t like it.

I’m not fond of a ‘man bun’ either.

Nor dirty clothes unless someone is busy working. Sometimes it just happens. Not acceptable if it’s just laziness.

Underwear flashing droopy pants.
An overstatement. Okay, I am very judgmental about this look because I feel like I should have a choice whether or not I have to view some other persons butt and underwear.

Funny enough, when I was younger and my parents complained about the bell bottoms we wanted to wear, I never thought I’d be anything like that but I am. I’m exceptionally judgmental about that look. 🥺 What a stupid look.

I agree with, Nathan, Horseless, in that the man that complimented you on your appearance was being genuine.

Yea, had a co-worker with a man-bun, I didn't like it because his whole appearance was just cliche.

@horseless carriage, Your appearance is very sharp(meaning dapper) and distinct. These days you gotta have balls to follow your own path, I think that young man was seriously giving you a compliment, as I am.

Thank you Nathan, and thank you Marg, such a kind compliments. You are both right, I have had people at work and elsewhere who are less ambiguous, they will make their compliment obvious but also state their reservations about public reaction. Funny old world.

The guy with the belt really looks foolish. Worse are the Justin Bieber types that go with tightie whities.

Man buns sit at the top of my list of no-no's. Nothing manly (at all) about man buns IMO, they look stupid.

My words to a guy with a man bun would be, man-up and get rid of your cutesy, tootsie, Lil girly bun or get a haircut.

Second on my list... modern, snug-fitting pants with crotch sag.

there's a guy in my apartment complex who walks around like this. and he's not a "kid"... has to be about 35-40... looks ridiculous.

i think "skinny jeans" look bad on all/most guys and only good on girls with great legs/butts.

Proof that some people leave the house without doing a take of themselves prior to.

I would have what it takes to tell the guy in the link what a dork he is.

Actually Marg, he's only a dork in your eyes, and if I am perfectly honest, mine too. But if he thinks that he looks attractive, who are we to argue? My cat, Ruby will jump on my lap, lick a few kisses and settle down to a purring good fuss whether I'm wearing a formal, James Bond style tux, or just a run of the mill daywear. There's no judgement on her part.

I am able to let go of my judgmental side whenever I see the likes of what I see in the link that WCW, posted, Horseless, in that if someone is silly enough to go out in public looking that way, they deserve any and all backlash that society can muster-up and dish-out.
