2 Dead, Over 20 Injured in Banquet Hall Shooting 5/30/2021

Considered a 'targeted' hit by some very ignorant, sloppy pos of gangsters. These gangsters, especially the teens probably prefer public space because their target is out in the open. Easier than an assault on their residence.

There's everything in south Florida crime wise, it's NYC south. Even the Russians have a presence there. Concert, bar or party means alcohol if not drugs are already in the picture. Some pos gangster probably got upset because someone looked at them funny. 2nd gang style shooting of the day in the Miami area-connected unsure.
 
Isn't it strange that for huge swaths of the planet, gun related deaths are rare occurrences. Their kids can go to school, and not be afraid their brains will be blow out. But the US ranks up their with such stable, law abiding nations ,like Guatemala. That's the nation the US State Department issued a Level 4, Do Not Travel Advisory, because of crime.
 

Gang activity AND gang attitude have taken over the area. I know I've seen reports of at least 3 brawls/fights at Miami International Airport this spring alone. When people are that quick to fight over what ever once drugs, money and territory is involved it's war.

I saw on the news this past spring that the college kids had really tore up South Beach and there were many arrests.
 
Here we go again. The news report I saw this on noted that there have been 68 mass shootings in America since the beginning of the year. Sixty eight!! People were attending an event (news report said concert, this article say a banquet hall). Three men got out of a vehicle they had apparently wait in for an hour and just opened fire on the crowd. This is so terrible and so senseless. Last I heard police believe there was a specific target but why shoot up any and everybody?! Where's the respect for life?

The news, in coming days, will probably report a dozen shootings over this holiday weekend....with dozens injured, and another dozen, or more, killed. We even had one killed, and several injured during a drunken party at a big lake nearby,.

There have been fights and assaults on planes too by certain people who don't like following simple instructions. Being told to follow federal law to secure the seat belt ended badly for the flight attendant who got 2 teeth knocked out.

As troubling as those incidents are in on the planes the fights at Miami Airport on the ground say something about Miami in general. In almost all those fights there was little or no staff either breaking it up or in sight. It's like they don't care, saw it too many times or grabbed some video themselves. This is one reason the shooting at the banquet hall was so easy for the perpatrators.
 
None of the news outlets I watched mentioned this was another black on black slaughter. Gangs+drugs+guns= this news thread. I love the news conferences after when the impotent, lying politicians say year after year "This must stop now." It won't as long as the above formula rules the country.
