Mustard - Favorite Kind?

I use both maille wholegrain ..and English Mustard for cooking...

When it comes to everyday sandwiches, burgers and hotdogs, nothing beats French's Yellow Mustard. Has been a favourite of mine since I was a kid.

For specialty sandwiches such as Rubin's and other savory choices, I like to use a spicy mustard, even going as far as mixing my own from scratch using a quality mustard powder such as Keen's.

Additionally, I do like a hot spicy mustard on an oven baked ham sandwich.

When preparing my secret brisket rub, I use 2-3 table spoons of Maille Old Style Dijon Mustard 1747, and in addition to, I make a complimentary coleslaw recipe where I add a little Maille Old Style Dijon Mustard 1747, to it as well.

Recently we been enjoying French's Bold & Spicy on deli-style sandwiches, as well as my homemade version of moons over my-hammy breakfast sandwiches which are mouthwatering delicious!

From Mark Twain: A starved man goes into an inn to eat. Waiter gives him a large mackerel and a bowl of mustard. "Eat all you want".
Man says "but I don't like mackerel". Waiter says, "then help yourself to the mustard".

The National Mustard Museum is a museum near U.S. 14 in downtown Middleton, Wisconsin. It boasts a large display of prepared mustards. It is often featured in lists of unusual museums in the United States.

The museum was conceived and founded by Barry Levenson. It centers on a mustard collection he began in 1986.The initial dozen jars have grown to a collection of more than 5,300 mustards from more than 60 countries, along with hundreds of items of mustard memorabilia and exhibits depicting the use of mustard through history.

The museum's gift shop occupies about half of its floor space and offers free tasting of mustard samples from a refrigerated case containing scores of varieties; the museum also operates a mail-order mustard business.

Among the displays are sweet hot mustards, fruit mustards, hot pepper mustards, horseradish mustards, and spirit mustards. The collection includes a large variety of French and English mixes, but many other countries are also represented.
