Looking at them it never fails to astonish me that here I am at 66 years old, and when I was born Elizabeth was the Queen, and here she is today.. still our very active on the ball Queen...

I know Lois... she was 8 years old when my mum was born... and the Queen and my dad were born the same week in 1926....

ETA..well not quite 8 years old.. my mum was born when the Queen was still 7 and 3 weeks from her 8th birthday
