I can't find fitted bed sheet clips

Like these - Walmart only had the dinky ones that just secure the corners. I need something like suspenders. And remember - I don't have ANY plastic money.

Also no regular twin size fitted sheets. The smallest I've seen was twin XL. I may have bought a twinXL last time I was at WalMart because it doesn't fit right. It billows over the edge like a parachute landing. My mattress is 36" wide, 72" long and 7" deep.

Are you looking to snug-up the bottom sheet?

Are the corner elastics worn... lost their stretch?

Are you handy at sewing? I would just put new elastic on if that's what's going on.

As for finding quality bed sheet grippers, unless you bite the bullet on the plastic, you're going to be stuck with the substandard junk that big-box stores sell, unless you can find a high-end furniture/bedding outlet and have them bring something in for you.

I was given a set of fitted king size sheets instead of the queen size that we have. To make them tight I put one side on and pulled from the other side to make it tight and then just folded the side with the excess like you would if using a flat sheet.
If you don't mind tucking the one side it does work.

It's doubtful that you will find anything like this in the stores. About the only place you might find these would be online, Amazon, EBAY, etc. But, since you say you don't use any credit cards, buying from these sites is not an option.

We bought a set of fitted sheets from Kohl's a few months ago, Sonoma brand, and the bottom sheet has very strong elastic and stays in place quite well. But then, you would probably have to spend a day driving to Albany to find the nearest Kohl's.

I am curious about those suspender type, which I haven't seen.
How do they hold their grasper on the sheet without tearing them, very hastily?

I would have thought the sheets would have to have been designed for use with them, such as having specially reinforced holes, for the graspers. o_O:unsure::unsure::unsure::rolleyes:

@Kaila The last time I found the small/dinky suspender type was at a dollar store. Mine were used for securing the protective pad underneath my regular tablecloth. I’ve never seen any like the type Deb was looking for.

@debodun Is the mattress shallow and your new sheets are designed for a deep mattress? The style Pinky posted look like the best alternative.

Yes, it definitely is. Just a few years ago, one had to search to find deep sheets. Now they almost all are.

If you end up moving, you should consider a new bed.

Have you ever tried this type? We've used these for years.

What a great idea! Where do you find the ones that you use?
Here are some bedsheet clips from Walmart <-- and from Ebay <-- (longer shipping).
These will be quite useful to keep the bottom sheet from coming up from the sides, and wrinkling in the middle.

I don't have ANY plastic money.

I have used Ebay quite a bit and pay through Paypal without using plastic cards.
How do you pay your utility bills? I do the same with them as I do with Ebay and Paypal.

These are the ones I am familiar with, Kaila.

They have what I refer to as a dot fastener, where you place the dot side on the inside (underside) of the bed sheet, then pull the slotted fastener over the dot head to secure.
