While visiting northern Queensland some time ago, I had a pizza with eggs as a topping. It was fabulous! I wish I could recall exactly how that was done. Maybe one of our members from Australia would know.
Currently, my favorite meat topping is Canadian bacon.
White or Red Sauce, but not soupy. Herbs, some pizzas places rely on the toppings to be all the flavor, but I think the sauce should have some zip and zest to it. Very little cheese. Never pepperoni. I like the crust to be foldable.
I like to make mine with the bagged dough from Trader Joe's. It's seriously as good as homemade. I also use their pizza sauce. I like finely chopped broccoli, onion and olives. I'll also put nutritional yeast in the sauce.
I don't use my oven in the summer, so no pizza for me right now.
