How Many Large Appliances Do You Have?

Go to Asian grocery stores and try some of the brands you never heard of from lands far away.............

A wise decision. Upright is so much easier to search through.
This is sort of what we have in mind.

I would much prefer a glass-fronted version, but don't want to be staring at food inside.

If only they made a frosted glass door version, that would be my choice for it's clean and modern look.

Your kitchen must be huge.

My microwave is on the small side so not counting that I'll say 5 if we're counting air conditioners. Gas stove, which I no longer use due to the Nu Wave system, refrigerator, two wall unit ACs and electric clothes dryer.

No washing machine?
I have a mini, semi automatic washer which I don't use that often because I have to set it up in the bathroom and using it is "a process". We are not allowed to have regular, automatic washing machines in our apartments. Decades ago I snuck a cute apartment sized one that I hid in the coat closet. But during that time, our apartments were inspected by HUD. I got tired of trying to hide it (some inspectors were more thorough than others) so I sold it to a co-worker. There is a laundry room right below my apartment which I have to go outside and down steps to access. Though that part is inconvenient, I can get a lot more laundry done in a shorter amount of time. I go as early as 4:00 a.m. so I have the place to myself.

While we're talking about appliances, there's something I saw on TV. In the US, we have our washers, and dryers in the "laundry room", or separate w/d area. But in the UK, they have their w/d in the kitchen. Us, Merkins, would go, 'yuck', but you Brits are happy about the arrangement. I doubt if it matters much where your w/d is. It's kind of weird how cultures are so different in little things.

The usual stuff - fridge, washer/dryer, stove.
A dishwasher came with the house but I never use it. It's not wasted space, though. I store bags in it.
