My kitchen didn’t look anything like this when I was growing up, all those beautiful modern cons in 1938? Unbelievable! And those shoes were actually in fashion?

I remember my great-grandmother had a kerosene-powered refrigerator. I never figured how that worked.....some kind of heat transfer.

One grandma had a refrigerator with a big set of coils on the top.
