Odd Packaging From An Amazon Order

Today my two 30 ounce coffee cans and three containers of No Salt arrived at my door packaged in the type of plastic bags used to sack groceries! Never saw that before. Is there also shortage of cardboard now?

Huh. We've just received a number of CDs and DVDs from Amazon in the usual Amazon padded envelopes.

Since your purchase was larger ... hmm, were the items sold at Amazon but shipped by the seller?

You can always call Amazon to inquire. I doubt that items shipped by Amazon would have non-Amazon packaging. Could be wrong, though.

A while back , Amazon was requesting a send back the boxes plan. They paid the return shipping. I haven’t seen this request in some time now. I’m getting the majority of my items in padded envelopes now too.

If not there should be... Amazon uses way too much of it. I suspect we get a lot more pounds of cardboard from them than pounds of the things we buy. Wish they could find a better way. In some places recyclers won't take Amazon boxes, something to do with the tape I think...
