Banner Towing Plane Makes Emergency Landing On New Jersey Bridge

Very dangerous for the pilot and the drivers/passengers in the cars and trucks. Emergency landings are what they are, however, the pilot should be experienced or he may up making a bad situation worse. I have read stories about pilots who have attempted landings on roads made for vehicle traffic and ended up hitting power lines, bridge abutments and one story even told about a small plane landing OK, but then hit a deep pothole, which flipped the plane over and killing the pilot. I think if I had a choice, I would decide on a nice level cornfield or wheat field after harvesting.

I can personally vouch for landing in cornfields and hayfields.
