A thread about funeral options brought this movie back to mind. It was poignant, funny and touching, when when i watched it in late 80's. More so now. The description on the page doesn't give enough info, but it's been so long. the thing i remember best is the climax and that would be a spoiler. i really need to see if any of the streaming services have it, especially since our local video store has not reopened since Covid began.

Have you ever seen Harold and Maude? Made in the early 70's, it's a dark comedy, starring Ruth Gordon.

I enjoyed it at the time and am now thinking I'd like to rewatch it...
Long time ago, now that i'm closing in on Maude's age i may watch it again. Also in the meantime my 3rd marriage was to a man 19 years younger than me.
