Any work out programs for seniors ages 65-70?

Hi everyone, I've just read the book "The Barbell Prescription". It's a great book written by a medical doctor. It has great information in there, but I'm still at a loss as to how to get started exercising again. I was advised that personal training might also be a great way to get started. I'm hoping someone who has a regular exercise routine could help me out with some advice. It would really help me out. Thanks everyone

What kinds of workouts are you interested to be doing, and why?
Youtube has many free videos produced by actual athletes themselves showing exercise routines.
One way to start is by doing a variety of exercises, each one of them for a minute, with a minute in between.
Then you can adjust the number of exercises, extend the time that you do them, and adjust the recoveries after each.

My experience (repeatedly) is that exercise programs don't sufficiently take into account the pitiful old lady muscles I have. Then I wind up injuring a joint and needing an injection in it.
But, the "Bob and Brad" youtubes have worked really well for me and even got rid of persistent hip pain I used to get all the time. I'm not sure which video of theirs it was that had hip exercises but they were great.
I will try to attach link to one of their videos, but they have a whole lot of them on YouTube.

I was advised that personal training might also be a great way to get started.
It was for me, I got started at age 67, about a year and a half ago. I had never really worked out and was not in great shape. The trainer was good at helping me understand what I could and should do. I have stuck with it and believe I have benefited greatly. One unexpected benefit has been a reduction in arthritis pain. Stronger muscles seem to make for less painful joints and movements.

I have also learned that at our age we can pretty much do the same things as much younger and more fit folks, we may just have to start lighter and more slowly. I believe the only thing you can do wrong is not exercise, its never too late to get started.

I have also learned not to compare myself to others much, what really matters is doing what I can do and do. Comparing to myself over time to see progress is good, but there will always be people more and less strong and fit than I.

I saw a news item the other day about a 91 year old nurse that was forced in to retirement by the Covid. She did not have it rather it was the hospital conditions that caused her to leave. Incredible.

I've tried Amazon Prime and You tube there is more selection on You tube.
