I can understand the reduction in value - - -after all, some of them must have been "used".

The Original Complaint has an exhaustive list of items, CD's, VHS, I stopped counting at 1,000, that's 1,000, and yes, there were more.

Here is the Court's decision, although SJ was granted, the "Damages" phase is still being litigated through Discovery. He was asking for treble damages under the law, thus over $75,000.00.

I have to agree. I think the parents were wrong, but what the son did was as bad or worse. Not a happy family.

I believe most think the son's porno collection disgusting., The fact that his collection was pornographic, is irrelevant. It had a monetary value of many $1,000s. It was the property of the son, and the care and preservation of his collection was entrusted to his parents, who disposed of it. If the son left a collection of valuable oil paintings in the care of his parents, and they throw them out, wouldn't the parents be responsible for the son's loss. To some their porno is just as valuable as other forms of art.
