Tuna sandwich variation

I don't know if anyone has already posted this, but thought I'd throw it out here! I make a toasted and buttered English muffin, pile on some tuna salad, put a slice of tomato over the tuna, and top with a piece of American cheese. I put them on a baking sheet and slide under the broiler until warm and the cheese melts. That's my favorite way to eat tuna!

@caroln that sounds good. I do similar, but do a grilled tuna and cheese on the stove top. When planning to eat it cold, I sometimes crumble up a hard boiled egg into my tuna salad

I, sadly, do not like cheese on my fish. I do put red onion, pickle relish, and miracle whip into my tuna fish. Yummy.

That's pretty much the way I make my tuna salad, only I use Hellman's mayo instead of Miracle Whip. You not liking cheese on your fish reminds me of my sister. She loves cheese but can't abide it melted! Strange!

I like it melted, toasted cheese sandwiches -yummy. Miracle Whit has less calories than mayonnaise
