Feminist Trends: “Are You Speaking To Me, Momma?”

If what I think of myself is so important to other people's lives then humanity must be in a world of shit. If you like we can discuss that. We'll begin with you.
When you originally opened this thread giving your thoughts on the woman, you automatically opened a can of worms about how you think. That, in and of itself is not important, but your subsequent self justifying responses to others only makes it seem important. Why you must describe humanity with an expletive is also quite telling.

When did feminism or chauvinism become a crime? Never. You deceive yourself if you belief you are not chauvinist to some degree. Tell us how this manifests in your attitude towards women you are attracted too. Then we can work with the facts.
I will start....and I am guilty of this type of behavior...What does a pick pocket see when walking on a crowded street? POCKETS!

The extreme version..."Hell I AIN'T no chauvinist, I LOVE women, I believe every man should own one!"

Funny how your concern is with "Why women marry idiots."
A woman who marries an idiot is no less an idiot herself. And if she has kids with him, she's an even bigger idiot.

As for why women marry idiots, there are many. Low self esteem is probably the most common.
The "I'll change him" types.
Well, I always knew I was an idiot because I married an idiot, and I am a bigger idiot because I had kids with him. In fact, as it is confession time, I am still an idiot-for too many reasons to count. There @win231 you are finally right about something. Does it give you a warm fuzzy feeling?

But, you know, at least I am a vaccinated idiot. 😊. I, at least, am not an unvaccinated idiot-just saying, just wondering, who is the biggest idiot of all? 🤔

If being vaccinated makes you feel smart, more power to ya.

While me and my husband were driving my Granddaughter to school today I noticed a man driving 3 kids to school and the whole time he was on his cell phone and had it tucked under his chin with his head tilted. What nut drives while talking on the phone. Driving is dangerous enough. Not only was he putting himself and his children in danger but everyone else around him.And he was not a woman and honestly I don't think he is what I consider a real MAN!
Did you try to report this incident?

When you originally opened this thread giving your thoughts on the woman ....
Yes, THE woman. THAT woman.
..... you automatically opened a can of worms about how you think. That, in and of itself is not important, but your subsequent self justifying responses to others only makes it seem important. Why you must describe humanity with an expletive is also quite telling.

You've just now opened a can of worms about how YOU think, as does anyone who gives their opinion on anything at all. This is a discussion forum after all. Am I right?

Self-justifying (as you call it) is also part and parcel of motivating one's opinion ... if it is contested. Am I right again?

As far as "describing humanity with an expletive" well, I guess you'll have to clarify that because I do believe you are triggering yourself into the depths of a deep-seated and undisclosed obstruction in your life. It ought to be very simple. Because of my concern for children, I feel frustrated by the actions I have observed in the Feminist-stoked behaviour that I described in my OP. You need to try understanding why my frustration (and dislike) for such behaviour - alternatively my love for children- makes you feel threatened.

Brings to mind the story a while back of the woman so focused on her cell phone that she walked into the side of a moving train. She was lucky that it didn't injure her, just knocked her on her butt about 30 feet away from the tracks.
Much luckier than that woman in China who was dialing or texting & she walked into an open manhole & was never seen again.
Here's a "Luckier" one:

Apparently, it's not so rare:

So, everyone is actually the opposite of what one claims to be? Thank you, that's very helpful. What is it that I claim to be? I've forgotten. Maybe you can remind me.

Ouch! Her advice appears to be "Everything should be painted orange just like the cowns". Manhole covers, lampposts, cars .......

The zombified parents of today scare the heck out of me.
It's like the only thing they care about is chasing pokemon or putting up statuses on Facebook, Tik Tok, Twitter and whatever else they are addicted to.
I have seen them at the park with their heads buried in their phone, while their wee children are running around.
It only takes 1 minute for a child to hurt themselves or worse, they could be abducted.
They walk across a busy road with their heads stuck in that damn phone with a child tagging along behind them.
I have nearly hit one of them while driving. They are unbelievable, so careless, so selfish so self-absorbed.

I saw a bumper sticker that said: "I bet you would drive better with that cell phone up your a--."

I'm supposed to be laying off the thread I know, BUT, whilst everything you say might be true, what do you make of the apparent contraction that so many parents today do not think it safe for their children to get to school by bus, or walking by themselves (or groups), if they live close enough, as used to happen?

At our local first school, where grahamg walked in or took the bus sixty years ago, a similarly small number of pupils requires their parents causing quite a traffic jam every morning. It takes about fifteen minutes to drop off a child, having updated the teacher and made sure their "little Johnny" or "Jill" is okay!

That's the truth of it all.
I have nearly hit one of them while driving. ....
I am so sorry. It must have been awful, and the parents acting as though they are the victims. It was you the driver who was the only victim because I'll bet it still haunts you to this very day. Had you knocked down that child your conscience would be wrecked with grief .... forever. I nearly did the same thing once - although it was my own fault for not fully scraping the ice from my windscreen and it blocked my view in a right-hand turn. That was in 1980 and the memory still gives me the shivers. So I understand what you must have felt.

I thought feminism was just the belief that women should have the same rights and opportunities as men, surely a worthy goal. ....
Yes, this is the idea in theory.
.... A mother dropping cigarette ash on her infant has nothing to do with feminism IMO.
It has a lot to do with feminism if it encourages "can do no wrong" behaviour and that is exactly what it does in Sweden.

I'm supposed to be laying off the thread I know.....
You know? No one else knows. Did the admin tell you to lay off the thread? I am the author of this thread and I never told you that. On the contrary. Your contribution to the whole forum is consistently worth reading.

The likes of John Wayne Gacey and Richard Huckle give us parents nightmares.

You are 100% correct it does still haunt me, as for the parent she looked up, waved and smiled at me as if I was a long lost friend, she heard the brakes lock up and me blasting my horn.
It's beyond me, it really is, I was left shaking and she just buried her head in that darn phone again, no doubt posting the incident to Facebook.

My daughter sends her children to school via bus, she does as I did which is wait at the bus stop with them, and be there when they get dropped back home.
I am sure the parents that feel it is unsafe, have their reasons for it, I certainly will not judge them as for a long time, after my daughter was stalked, I drove her and her friends to school every day.

If I were a four-letter-word sort of guy I'd post a string of them now. I've been the victim of several near misses involving mothers who put their children in harm's way requiring my fast thinking to avoid disaster. But I'm am an old bastard now and my reflexes are not what they used to be. I can no longer dodge or leap over the infant-laden pram that's thrust in front of my feet at the very last second. So it's only a matter of time before I fall into one of them and crush the child within. I shudder to think of it and it hasn't even happened yet.

Very kind of you to give me that compliment, (deserved or no), but what Imeant was I'm trying to avoid hijacking the thread into another "father's rights" one, as I'm all too guilty of this!

In the Video where the woman fell into the Cellar.... even her adult son was making excuses for her looking at her phone.. oh she's diabetic..oh she felt poorly, oh she's semi blind ( not blind enough not to be able to see her phone tho') , oh she needed to look to see the time... so it's someone elses' fault...not just admit that his mother could have just stopped as soon as she felt poorly instead of continuing to walk... and not see where she was going..

If there is a particular situation, such as the one you've described, who could argue with sensible precautions being taken.

However, I'm describing what I believe amounts to "competitive parenting", each mother or father demonstrating just what wonderful and caring parents they are by mithering the poor teachers to death "EACH DAY"!

Oh, I see.

Are you hosting such a thread? I'm off to a dentist appointment right now but if you link your thread or give me the title of it I'll be sure to take a look as soon I return.
