I must have a block typing the word "because" and the reason is most of the time I spell it "becuase". I can't kick it. Weird.

There are certain simple words that I sometimes have to look up the spelling for. I think it's a normal thing, considering how many words are in our vocabulary.

Many people (including myself) have a very mild form of dyslexia - so mild it goes unnoticed. I also occasionally spell a word with letters reversed & I've always been a very good speller. Sometimes I also leave a word out.

Me too. I can reread the sentence two or three times and see the missing word. When I hit ‘post’, then I realize it’s not there.

Yeah, I completely understand. A month or so ago, I could not recall how to spell "does". I typed it out and it didn't look right to me. I thought, "Hey, wait a minute. That is NOT the way to spell "does".

Yes, I do have minor mental blocks when typing in other languages. My mother languages are French and Hawaiian and although I speak English fluently, and Italian, sometimes I forget a simple word, so I do the automatic thing and write it in either French or Hawaiian.
