Well attempting to anyway. It was an FBI sting operation. What is wrong with people?! Now these wanna be spies are looking at a possible life sentence. Bail was denied because they are considered a flight risk. They wanted easy money, now they won't need it because they'll be getting free room, board, food and even clothing. They look like your average, nice, suburban middle class couple. A shocked neighbor commented that you never know what's going on behind closed doors in someone's home. The text article is below the video.

That was pretty shocking. I can't imagine being a traitor. Geez.
Sometimes people post pictures (not here, that I've seen), saying this is what evil looks like. And the person doesn't look like evil at all, because evil people mostly look ordinary. I use the word evil because I can't think of another word.

They say everyone has a price but some no matter their job are always looking for an opportunity. Their lawyer might try to claim somekind of entrapment but why were they targeted in the first place.

Alot of people think spying is surveillance, electronic devices etc but in some respects is about recruiting. Law enforcement knows this as well. In other words it's looking for the weakest link.

I wondered the same thing. How did the FBI get on to them? @Remy...you've got that right!
And I forgot to mention that they put the files in a peanut butter sandwich and gum wrapper. Real cool spy stuff huh?! (I'm being facetious).

Apparently they actually gave a foreign government secret data 18 months ago so that was the trigger. I guess they figured over year after their first deed they were free and clear. So the FBIs offer too good to refuse.

Don't these people realize most classified material has to be kept in a certain placed with access logged or computer activity tracked?

Oh that's right. I do remember now hearing that the "undisclosed government" reached out to U.S. intelligence and let them know. Sometimes I think people like this think they are so smart, they can get away with their crimes but as they say..."crime makes ya stupid".

Just like the street thug looking for victim people like this are always looking for financial oppurtunity except investing, overtime, second job is too much work. They want the big score. If one is patient and eager the criminals will act & strike like a predator.

I completely fail to understand people like this. The sell their souls, and for what. They already make great money. How much difference will this make over the span of a lifetime? Yet we see this repeatedly.
