Have the remains of Brian Laundrie been found?

Apparently, the FBI is convinced that these remains are his, and no further action is expected. He may have realized that his life was over, for all practical purposes, and committed suicide....or became a "lunch" for a Florida alligator. At least, he saved the taxpayers millions of dollars in legal fees, and prison expenses.

The Court TV reporter is saying that the FBI was at the area where he was found, so the Laundries followed the FBI there, not the other way around. Their lawyer was on the show and quite angry at people who say that if the Laundries didn't say anything they must be guilty of something. He says, "They didn't talk because I told them not to talk! It's their right under the fifth amendment!"

Yes, it's very sad for both families. Two young people gone over some problem that probably could have been easily solved if other people who cared about them had been present. Instead they were exhausted and alone with each other for far too long.

I have a feeling this mystery will never be resolved. Many guesses and theories but no sound evidence much like Lindberg case, Amelia Earhart or the three escapees from Alcatraz or the guy that jumped out of the commercial airliner with a bag of money.

This was so very unfortunate for both individuals as well as for their families. Lives were destroyed because emotions took over in place of logic. It's time for the nation to move on and allow both families to grieve. A tragic story that could have ended so differently. I wish the very best to the parents, on both sides, this is the kind of tragedy that no parent should have to endure.

Have to wonder did he flee to take himself out or actually try and get away. Too many shenanigans with him coming back alone etc so he probably wanted to get away with it but the national exposure probably made escape impossible and made him deal with his deed on a daily basis.
