I resume scuba certification training tomorrow.

Two things I must master before moving forward. Uncertain whether I already posted this, however, because of recent ear problems I have not learned how to equalize my ears. I think I have it now, but I haven’t tested the technique for diving. I have not tested proper weights and distribution for trim. Trim is a term that is used to describe the ability of to achieve and maintain neutral buoyancy while submerged in water. I use 24 pounds of lead and mesh weights.

In previous dives the diving staff placed and distributed the weights in my BCD, however, I bought a new BC that uses a horseshoe style air bladder with less weight pockets. So it has taken longer than usual to find the perfect trim. The good news is, I have it figured out in time for tomorrow's pool session.

To recap, scuba training tomorrow, trim and ear, mask air pressure equalization.

Good luck! I know how much this means to you.
